Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults in home-based or community settings, collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement behavior-change plans and track progress.

You’ll build social and communication skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and help families by documenting milestones. Competitive pay, benefits, and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or at least one year of experience with children.
• Strong communication skills; passion for working with individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
