Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will implement behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills in a one-on-one setting.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be able to stand, walk, and assist children who may weigh up to 50 pounds, and you will gain meaningful experience while making a difference in families' lives.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate; able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sits/stands to interact with clients throughout the day.
• Lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Moves quickly when required to ensure client safety and interaction.
