Job summary

ABA Support Services in Bethlehem is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data collection systems, assist with behavioral assessments, and support clinical activities and staff/parent training. The role may involve lead therapist duties when needed and may require travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities include data collection, session preparation, and direct client care following established behavioral programs.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year clinical/home/school experience providing direct services to children with Autism, training parents, and supervising staff in intervention protocols.
• Willing to learn about an early learning curriculum and behavioral principles to increase functional repertoires.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills required.
• Therapists should be able to work with children across ASD functioning levels and implement programs in home, school and community environments.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining up-to-date graphs and data summaries.
• Write progress notes, program updates, and create session materials.
• Participate in implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session-related activities and materials.
• Assist with protocol dissemination, reviews, and staff/parent training.
• Provide direct client care following prescribed behavioral protocols, one-on-one or in group settings.
