Job summary

ABA Support Services in Bucks County, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data systems, assist with assessments, and support staff and parents in implementing behavioral programs.

The role includes lead therapist duties during absences, data collection and graphing, session preparation, and ensuring safety. Applicants should have a High School diploma and college credits, with experience in autism and related trainings welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 60 college credits; bachelor’s or master’s in related field desirable.
• Experience providing behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities preferred.
• CPR, seizure, and child abuse reporting training required; BACB/RBT related trainings as applicable.
• Willingness to learn early learning curriculum and apply behavioral principles.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with graphs, summaries, and data interpretation.
• Write progress notes and program updates; prepare session materials.
• Support baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Help prepare and clean session areas and equipment.
• Disseminate protocols and provide staff/parent training as needed.
• Use safe handling and guidance procedures with clients.
• Provide direct client care following behavioral programs; may be one-on-one or in groups.
• Shadow/treat hours; report concerns to lead therapist.
• Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours.
