ABA Support Services in Williamsport is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to support data collection, analysis, and program implementation for children with developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• 1 year clinical/home/school experience providing direct services to children with Autism, training parents, and supervising staff in the implementation of intervention protocols
• Willingness to learn an early learning curriculum and apply behavioral principles to increase functional repertoires
• Exceptional interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Therapists should be able to work with children ranging from high to low functioning ASD and implement programs at home, school, and community
• Motivated, strong work ethic, high quality work, and capable of working with minimal direction
• Able to work independently and as a team member in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; flexible and patient

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior
• Assist lead therapist with maintaining up-to-date graphs and data summaries
• Write progress notes and program updates, create session materials
• Participate in baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions
• Prepare and clean up session-related activities
• Disseminate protocols, reviews, and staff/parent training
• Use safe handling and guidance procedures when transporting clients
• Provide direct client care following prescribed behavioral protocols (one-on-one or group)
• Assume lead therapist duties in the temporary absence of the lead therapist
• Shadow/co-treat/treat 2–4 contact hours per week
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist
• Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours
