Job summary

Centria Autism in New Mexico is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, and help reduce challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided; no prior experience required. The role requires physical stamina as you may lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patient and compassionate with children.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as needed.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
