Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided; candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
