Job summary

Centria Autism in United States (Oregon) is seeking Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and a team player.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist one-on-one with children using behavior plans.
• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Support BCBA and team during sessions.
• Ensure safety and proper lifting/carrying when needed.
