Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and help reduce interfering behaviors.

Successful candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided; candidates must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Patience and teamwork.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Work to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in training and collaborate with the team.
