Job summary

CENTRIA AUTISM is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Background check upon start.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support children in a safe, caring, and patient environment at all times.
