Job summary

We are seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join Centria Autism, a Centria-Healthcare program. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided, and job involves active participation with children, including maintaining safety and lifting up to 50 pounds when required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist with safety, mobility, and daily activities as needed.
