Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism and teamwork.
• 21+ years old and legally eligible to work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Work under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
