Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians, working one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement tailored behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing problematic behaviors.

You will be part of a compassionate, patient team, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid cert. and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes.
• Maintain safety and manage challenging behaviors.
