Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians in Morrice, Michigan. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience is required. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Tuberculosis test (if not done in last year).
• Background check clearance.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and ensure child safety.
• Move and position yourself to assist clients up to 50 pounds.
