Job summary

Centria-Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism in Michigan. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow in the field of Behavioral Analysis.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Work under the guidance of a BCBA to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by the company.
