Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Michigan to work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Applicants should be patient and compassionate, able to work in a team, and able to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Training is provided for those without experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Create a supportive, safe environment for children, including moving and lifting as needed.
• Contribute to a team that helps children reach their full potential and measure progress.
