Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Applicants should be patient and team-oriented and meet the minimum age and education requirements. Training is provided. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if needed, background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
