Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians, supporting children with autism through individualized plans under a BCBA. You will implement evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes patient, compassionate teamwork with comprehensive training offered, plus a pay range of $19–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test.
• Background check required before employment.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment for children and families.
