Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based methods.

Training is provided; candidates should be patient, compassionate, team-oriented, and able to handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Comprehensive training will be provided to new hires.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test; pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move and assist children as needed, with safety in mind.
