Job summary

Centria Autism in Massachusetts is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

You should be compassionate, patient, and capable of collaborating with a team. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering or challenging behaviors while supporting family goals.
• Collaborate with a team and participate in ongoing training and onboarding.
