Job summary

Centria Autism in Massachusetts is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required as training is provided; candidates should be patient and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support BCBA guidance to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be physically active; stand, walk, and assist children up to 50 pounds.
