Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to teach essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, and you may join without prior experience. The role involves moving and lifting up to 50 pounds, and a prerequisite is obtaining an RBT certification

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through targeted interventions.
• Participate in onboarding and ongoing training to support children with autism.
