Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and seek patient, compassionate team players. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must love helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
