Job summary

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians in Metairie, LA. You will implement ABA programs across the CARD center, clients’ homes, schools, or via telehealth under supervision. This role offers part-time hours with opportunities for growth and certification support.

Responsibilities include data collection, delivering treatment, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass CARD Behavior Technician Training with exam and field evaluation.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment to patients in 1:1 or group settings under a Clinical Supervisor.
• Deliver treatment that meets CARD's clinical quality standards.
• Collect and record data on patient progress with high fidelity.
• Review and implement feedback from the Clinical Supervisor during sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
• Pursue personal growth and training to maintain clinical excellence.
• Maintain accurate and timely records while adhering to HIPAA requirements.
• Represent CARD professionally and ethically to stakeholders.
• Follow CARD policies and perform other duties as assigned.
