Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our home-based treatment team in New Jersey. You will work 1-1 with children on the autism spectrum, implementing plans created by our BCBA and supporting families in the everyday.

Part-time evening/after-school hours with paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team to deliver life-changing care and track progress using data collection in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience with behavioral challenges or ASD preferred.
• Reliable transportation to assign locations.
• HIPAA and confidentiality awareness.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Part-time after-school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the individualized treatment plan.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families and supervisors.
• Assist with physical activities as children move during sessions.
• Other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
