Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our home-based treatment team. You will work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under BCBA supervision, delivering individualized behavioral plans in a supportive, family-friendly setting.

The role offers flexible part-time hours, evening/afternoon shifts, paid training, opportunities for growth, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in families’ lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Reliable transportation to commute to multiple locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client at their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report on treatment effectiveness.
• Support families in implementing treatment plans.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and others.
• Assist with activities requiring physical movement and pace with children aged 2–15.
• Follow BCBA/LBA guidance and adapt to changing schedules.
• Fixed schedule Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm, with some weekend shifts.
