Lighthouse is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to join our NYC-based ABA therapy team. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA, helping families through growth and skill development.

This role emphasizes data collection, progress tracking, and collaboration with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team, while maintaining thorough documentation and flexible hours to accommodate client needs.

Qualifications

• ABA therapy experience or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow treatment plans and maintain documentation.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Foster a positive, engaging therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate progress and strategies to parents/caregivers.
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
