Job summary

Lighthouse ABA is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to join our NYC team. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA, building trusting relationships and supporting skill development.

You’ll implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, monitor progress, and collaborate with the BCBA and care team. Strong communication with families is essential to generalize skills at home and in daily life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in ABA therapy or autism is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship and promote independence.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to review progress and adjust plans.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
