Job summary

Lighthouse CH in New York City seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision, building strong rapport with clients and families.

You will implement evidence-based interventions, collect data, track progress, collaborate with the BCBA and team, and communicate therapy goals and progress with parents to support skill development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience in ABA or working with individuals on the autism spectrum preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions per individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to guide treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust plans.
