Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home-based or community-based settings, working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar needs.

You will help build social and communication skills while following plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The role offers flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, benefits including health/dental/vision, HSA, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Either completed college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges
• Help individuals build social and communication skills
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session
