Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home-based or community-based settings, working with individuals with Autism and related challenges. You will help build social and communication skills, document progress, and follow plans created by BCBAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science or human development; or at least one year of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
