Maxim Healthcare in the United States is hiring a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home- or community-based settings, helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related challenges build communication and social skills.

You will follow behavior-change plans, document progress, and collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to support families and promote independence, in a role with meaningful impact and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and empathy for individuals with special needs.
• Ability to work one-on-one with clients in home or community settings.
• Follow behavior-change plans and document progress accurately.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges
• Help individuals build social and communication skills
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session
