Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home-based or community-based settings.

You will work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related behavioral health challenges, following plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The role emphasizes building social and communication skills, documenting progress, and delivering structured, positive sessions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential for daily interactions with clients and families.
• Demonstrates passion for helping individuals with special needs and behavioral challenges.
• Must be at least 18 years old and meet basic eligibility criteria.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or similar challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
