Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with a supportive team to help children

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and patience when working with children.
• Ability to follow BCBA-guided plans and document progress.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
