Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and support so you can help each child reach their full potential. The role involves standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds; pay is $19-$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using behavior intervention plans.
• Implement evidence-based communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA with data collection and progress tracking.
• May need to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
