Job summary

New Story Schools in Ohio seeks a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one and small-group support to students in home and community settings. You will implement individualized plans building academic, social, and life skills.

Collaborate with families and educators, collect progress data, and report findings to guide instruction. Requirements: an associate degree or 48 credits, and at least three months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 credits required.
• At least three months of professional or internship experience in supporting individuals with behavioral or learning differences.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance coverage.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and educators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction based on each student's IEP goals.
• Support students with autism and other learning differences in home and community settings.
• Implement evidence-based strategies to promote academic, behavioral, and life skill growth.
• Collect and report data to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisions.
• Partner with families, teachers, and clinicians to ensure consistency and support across environments.
