Job summary

Springfield Local Schools in Holland, Ohio, seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce challenging behaviors within the school setting.

You will implement skill acquisition plans under supervision, with a fixed schedule Monday–Friday from 7am to 3:45pm, depending on the school.

Qualifications

• One year experience in ABA, mental health, rehab, or education of students with disabilities.
• High school diploma or GED; Parapro test can be administered by Renhill.
• BCI & FBI background checks completed within the past 12 months; ODE permit assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with special needs students.
• Implement behavior reduction and skill-building plans.
• Provide direct behavioral interventions in the school setting.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring.
