Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings. You will receive guidance from experienced BCBAs and help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role involves implementing treatment plans, recording progress, and creating engaging learning environments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field accepted.
• At least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments

Education
