Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one with clients under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement treatment plans and help build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field; or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments
