Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism in home and community settings. You will implement treatment plans devised by BCBAs and help clients develop communication, social and daily living skills.

The role offers competitive hourly pay ($21-$26/hr DOE), weekly pay, PTO, benefits, mileage reimbursement and flexible schedules, with ongoing BCBA support and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field or
• At least one year of experience in a behavior-focused role (e.g., Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field

1+ year experience in related roles (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, etc.)
