Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities include supporting social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Evening and weekend hours may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or at least one year of related child-care experience.
• Benefit eligibility depends on employment status.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
