Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavior Technician to support clients with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one with individuals under supervision of BCBAs, implementing treatment plans and helping build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

Responsibilities include recording session data, maintaining structured learning environments, and traveling between client locations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field preferred.
Or at least one year of experience in a related child-focused role.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
Support positive behavior development.
Record session data and track client progress.
Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field

1 year of experience in related role (Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist/Behavioral Interventionist/Paraprofessional/Child Development Professional/Camp Counselor)
