Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults with autism and related developmental differences, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills in home and community settings. You will receive guidance from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and support for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Paraprofessional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
