Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences. You will work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, implementing BCBA-developed treatment plans and helping clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology or related field OR at least one year of experience in a related role (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, similar child-focused role).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education
