Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Virginia is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior plans to teach communication, social and daily living skills. No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be patient, team oriented, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

You will earn $19–$25 per hour and have access to benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Follow guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the BCBA.
