Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in California is hiring a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences. You will work one-on-one in clients' homes and community settings under the guidance of BCBAs.

You will implement treatment plans, help build communication, social, and daily living skills, and record progress. Mileage reimbursement and flexible schedules are offered, with paid training and ongoing BCBA support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field; or at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old

• At least one year of experience as a:
  • Behavior Technician
  • ABA Therapist
  • Behavioral Interventionist
  • Paraprofessional
  • Child Development Professional
  • Camp Counselor
  • Similar child‑focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
