Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental challenges.

The role involves helping clients improve social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing plans developed by our BCBA team. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or 1 year experience with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA/Behavior Technician.
• Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
