Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician in Baton Rouge, LA to support children through evidence-based ABA therapies in schools and community settings.

You will work Mon-Fri, 12:00 PM to 4:15 PM, with pay of $17.00 per hour. The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with families, and maintaining compassionate, individualized care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Availability 12:00 PM–4:15 PM, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct ABA-based services in schools and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection and documentation.
• Engage with families and staff with a positive, professional demeanor.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Required:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability to work during operation hours of 12:00PM - 4:15PM Monday - Friday

Preferred:

• 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
