Job summary

Merakey in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children through 1:1 ABA-based services in school and community settings. You’ll collect data, communicate with parents and staff, and document progress as part of a client-centered plan.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be available to work 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday through Friday. This role emphasizes applying individualized treatment with a supportive team environment.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Required:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability to work during operation hours of 7:30am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday

Preferred:

• 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
