Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role involves delivering 1:1 ABA-based services in schools and community settings, with data collection and caregiver communication as part of daily duties. The position emphasizes applying individualized treatment while maintaining a positive team-friendly attitude.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be available 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Prior behavioral health exposure is preferred.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Required:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability to work during operation hours of 7:30am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday

Preferred:

• 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
